Garri cookies. Today was the day to finally transform the abstract image of a garri-based cookie into a concrete final product. In all honesty, it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Golden Penny Garri cookie is a family delight that every member of your family will love and cherish.

You can enjoy it any time of the day and it's easy to preserve. Cookies like chin-chin, biscuit, kuli-kuli, or any crunchy that wouldn't muddle the taste of gari the way you like it would be an excellent addition. How you eat the combo is totally up to you. Ingredients of Garri cookies

Prepare 150 g of garri.
It's 4 tsp of butter Cold butter.
You need 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
It's 1/2 teaspoon of Salt.
Prepare 3 tablespoon of Sugar.
Prepare 1 of egg.
Prepare 1/2 cup of Milk.
It's 140 g of flour.

One thing is certain, there will be crunchiness on one side and mushiness on the other. Garri is mainly eaten as a fufu or soaked in water and eaten as a porridge. Never have we considered making cookies out of garri. Saturday morning, lounging in bed with a nicely brewed cup of tea and some English cookies and this idea pops up.

Preheat oven at 200°c.
Sprinkle water over sieved garri,and mix very well..
Measure flour into a bowl,add butter into flour and mix..
Add baking powder,sugar,salt and garri to the flour mixture..
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture,then pour egg and milk into it.mix very well..
Drop into the greased baking pan..
Bake for 30minutes(untill theyvturn brown).
Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving..
