  4. In the same skillet place bitter gourd, pour in 1/4 cup of water, bring to a boil, turn heat on low and leave to cook for 15 minutes, turn heat off and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving, serve as a side with main meal or with a lentil salad, enjoy!.
