Ingredients of Sweet Chilli Pork Ribs
- It's 63.75 kg of Pork Ribs.
- You need Can of Coca Cola.
- It's 2 TBsp of Chilli Flakes.
- You need Half of a cup of Brown Sugar or a dallop of natural honey.
- You need of Braai Dry Rub spice.
- Prepare of Salt and Pepper.
I usually use baby back ribs but have had great success with spare ribs as well. Mix the above ingredients together, preserving some lime juice for serving later. If needed cut the ribs into smaller pieces to fit in the Instant Pot®. Set aside while continuing with the rest of the prepping.
Sweet Chilli Pork Ribs step by step
- Coat the ribs with all the dry ingredients, on both sides.
- Coat with Coca cola and let it marinade for at least 4 hours.
- Cook in the oven, covered in foil, for an hour & a half.
- Braai (on an open fire or an elec griller) it for 25 minutes on both sides or until brown and crispy on the outside but soft inside.
- Transfer the juices onto a pot and let them cook down till thick. You are welcome to add more sugar/chilli onto the gravy for an extra kick. You slather the Ribs with the gravy for moisture and stickiness.
